The President of Avignon University and Professor Farid Chemat are pleased to inaugurate the UNESCO Chair in Plant Based Green and Sustainable Chemistry in the presence of representatives of the South Region, the city of Avignon and with the interventions of Ms. Kasry of UNESCO and Ms. Halimi of the French National Commission for UNESCO.
This event will be the occasion to present the Chair and its objectives to the actors of the socio-economi world as well as to present the educational kits that the Chair develops.
The inauguration will take place on January 25, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Jean-Henri Fabre campus.
